Emerging infections present significant challenges to human health. The Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in Emerging and Zoonotic Infections is part of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and is a partnership between the University of Liverpool and Public Health England (PHE) in collaboration with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

This Annual Conference for the NIHR HPRU will give the opportunity to hear from key investigators about the exciting research being undertaken and the future aims for the Unit, with keynote talks from:
